Tobias Switzer
Tobias Bernard Switzer is an active-duty colonel in the United States Air Force and an adjunct senior fellow with the Center for a New American Security. A special operations helicopter pilot, economist, and foreign area officer, he has served in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. His work on military labor markets and other defense issues has been published in Econometrica, War on the Rocks, the Irregular Warfare Initiative, and USA Today.
